Green Tea Smoothie

Here is a simple, vitamin-filled smoothie recipe which allows you to add the health benefits of green tea to your daily diet. Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
Ingredients:

2 C freshly brewed, organic green tea (use 4 tea bags)
1 banana, mango or papaya, cut into large chunks
4 oz plain or vanilla yogurt
1 C blueberries or strawberries
1 T organic, raw whey or rice bran protein powder
dash of cinnamon

Optional:
1 T raw almond or coconut butter
1 tsp honey, if desired for sweetener

Pour cooled green tea into blender, add chosen ingredients, and blend until consistency is smooth. This energy boosting smoothie is packed with antioxidants, protein, vitamins and minerals, and makes a quick delicious meal.
